SARA - STORAGE AND REHEARSAL AREA
Woodstock Musical Theatre Company, along with TownSquare Players,
maintain a joint facility, fondly referred to as "SARA". This is used
for storage of set pieces, props, auditions at times, sets are
constructed here, and rehearsals are conducted here as well. An exact
replica, of the Opera House stage floor, has been made, to facilitate
Directors and actors in the rehearsal process of getting used to the
space they will eventually be working on. As sets are built here as
well, the actors, get a chance to work with the set, before Tech Week
comes along. This has proved to be an enormous advantage over having to
make the adjustment during Tech Week.
Below is a map along with directions for those who are not familiar
with the area. Rehearsal times will be provided to you by the Producer
or Director. Other contact information will be provided as well. The

SARA is located on RT47 (Eastwood Drive). It is "kitty corner" or
"catty corner" (depending on where you're from) from the K-Mart store,
across from Cobblestone Way(a street-see map). There is a large, tall,
lighted billboard near the driveway into SARA. If you're coming South on
Rt. 47/Eastwood Drive; it is just north of the driveway. If you are
coming North on Rt. 47/Eastwood Drive; it is just south of the driveway.
It is a large pole building. The building is heated, but you should
dress appropriately in the winter - if you tend to get cold easily. It
is also dusty, so if you have allergies or asthma, be sure you have any
medication you may need.
